Canned Tuna Fish Healthy Recipes

canned tuna fish healthy recipes
Seafood for someone who hates seafood?

Ok, so I want to start eating more healthily, and lots of meal appeal for fish (yuck). Each time I take my wife to Red Lobster, I end up getting a drink (chicken) and I eat bread, and when I eat breaded clam strips (for some reason, I am able to manage these). I want to try the lobster, and various types of meals that have fish. But I do Can not find the courage to eat seafood What do you recommend that I start with? something sweet, be without the smell of fish or a very very slight fish smell? I do eat a tuna sand once or twice a year, fish sticks perhaps once every two years. But I will no further, I did not even eat shrimp. Last night I made the coconut shrimp for my wife and mother and it seemed soo good and they said it was better than the red shrimp coconut lobster. I almost tried it, but I remembered how breaded shrimp looked before and cooked them. Does anyone have a good meal or recipe ideas?

Wow, this is a real issue. If you can prepare seafood and it seems Well, I do not understand why you can not guide you to eat. Sounds like a mental or emotional block. I suggest you eat fish that is fried. It is obviously very bad, but if you do not like you probably do not like french fries from the fry to taste at all surprising. I also suggest to find something you like (for example, it is mole Mexican or Italian linguine) and by adding a mixture of shrimp with chicken. The texture is so similar you will notice barely, and taste very sweet. Keep in mind that fish and shellfish are all very different. Compare, for example, a sirloin steak pork chop with. There has been much more fat than others, it goes better with light sauces, while the other is great by itself. Fish scales as this - a lot. I would try one a little of everything. If you know you tend to like less fatty meat, lean fish consider halibut, shrimp, lobster, crab. If you like fattier meat, think of salmon, swordfish, tuna, cod, etc. If you know you have a particular texture you do not like, well, just fish in each texture too. Salmon, halibut, cooked tuna, trout, etc. are flakey as raw tuna, swordfish, shrimp and lobster to act more like a chicken or steak. I think there are few things better than the coconut shrimp, lobster steamed sweet tail ahi tuna sushi rolls, halibut or cooked on a cedar plank with lemon, butter, dill sauce. But the point is that fish is a excellent source of omega 3 fatty acids or essential. They fill you up, do not make you feel sluggish, and are good for you. Eat bread instead? Not very good for you. Completely empty, processed carbohydrates.

  • This is my favorite way to eat grouper...Ingredients: 8 ounces shallots, spray grapeseed or olive oil, 1/4 cup white wine, 1/4 tsp salt, fresh ground black pepper, 2 tsp prepared horseradish, 1 tsp honey, 4 4 ounce grouper filets...Preheat the oven to 375°F. Then place the shallots in a small stainless steel or non-reactive sauce pain. Spray lightly with olive oil and cover the pan. Place the pan in the oven and roast the shallots for about 30 minutes. Remove at 15 minutes and toss...After 30 minutes add the white wine, salt and pepper. Return the pan to the oven and cook for 15 minutes. Remove and let cool for about 5 minutes....Place the shallots in a blender or mini-chopper with the horseradish and honey. Puree until smooth...Place a large skillet in the oven and preheat the oven to 426°F....After the oven is at temperature, spray the pan lightly with grapeseed oil and place the grouper filets in the pan. Cook for about 6 minutes and turn the fish. Spread about 2 - 3 tablespoons sauce on top of each fish and return the pan to the oven. Cook for another 5 - 7 minutes and serve.

Sorry for the huge review, but I'm really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it's the right choice for you.

  • fk cn says:

I'll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
