Cod Fish Soup Recipes

cod fish soup recipes
Recipe for Sopa de Marisco (seafood soup)?

I live near the border, so we have authentic mexican food here. Yesterday I had a seafood soup that had whole large butterflied shrimp, octopus, some kind of meaty white fish-maybe tilapia or cod, and oysters/clams in a tomato/fish base w/celery, carrots and tomatoes. It wasn't spicy but had good seasoning and was really yummy! I've been looking online for a recipe, but some have swordfish and other stuff that this one didn't have. I wouldn't mind some rice with it, but I'd like to get a recipe closer to the soup I had rather than subsituting every other thing. I saw a frozen bag of seafood in the store and was thinking about getting that rather than at the seafood counter b/c I need to budget. Does anyone have a good recipe?

I live in southern spain and this is the fast way, taste great.

1Litre strong fish stock. This can be fresh or a carton.
1 vegitable stock cube, or 2 tsp bouillion.
salt and pepper.
Bring to the boil
Add in your bag of frozen fish.
Bubble away for 10 mins adjust seasoning to taste.

You’re blogging has really come on when I look back over previous posts. Actually I arrived here from a forum on an unrelated topic. Worth surfing sometimes. Thanks.
