Am I allowed to launch an inflatable raft is NYS park waters?
I know in NYC only canoes and kayaks are allowed, but I was wondering if I can use my Fish Hunter Sevylor raft in the waters of the park such as NYS Jones Beach State Park, Captree State Park and Bear Mountain State Park. NYS DEC does not automatically mean they are not allowed but does not seem to mention anything or inflatable rafts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. .
Hello, NYS Parks and Recreation will address dinghies, kayaks and canoes. 're boat will be classified as non-mechanical propulsion according to the regulation.
