will discus fish eat guppies eat?
I have a 10 gallon tank with guppies and Platt, and a tank of 60 gallons for discus fish (I have not yet bought), i love my guppies, but not all babies, they must constantly! So I was wondering if I could use guppy fry the fish feed, I will of course leave a little bigger, or maybe not, depends on the size of the discussion I buy I think. .. anyway will they eat guppies NEW / guppy fry ...?? and Should I feed my fish live food drive, not flakes or granules ..? Im thinking live food will be less troubled waters =] i havent bought the discussion, but I'll most likely grow small
Discus more than any other fish need a balanced diet, they need foods rich in protein and vitamin C and lots of it. Feeders will give them not enough of what they need to survive. You can give them the opportunity to raise baby guppy if you yourself and know that they are free of the disease, but do not just feed those. Here's a link to feed you. http://rockymountaindiscus.com/Discus_Fish_Care.htm Their Power must be Flake high quality or food pellets, blood worms, brine shrimp and occasionally a feeder line. Good Luck
