Indian /Eastern fish dish and name?

What ingred. do you need to make a fried spicy tilapia or any fish dish? I ate this at an indian rest. in Wisconsin and it was excellent. I dont remember the name but it was a snapper or tilapia that had a lemony, spicy taste to it. I also believe it was fried. If anyone has any recipes, I would appreciate it !!
