pleco in my cold water tank?
today i was at a pet shop looking for a couple of new fish for my tank as i have recently bought a bigger 1. i saw these sucker fish and asked the man who owned the shop about them and he said they are ok in cold water tanks as long as i dont have it really cold. even he had a couple in his cold water tanks
anyway as i fell in love with this ugly but fascinating creature lol i bought 1. i got home only to read that they should not be kept in cold water tanks!!
he is swimming around and eating the algae but i am abit concerned that he wont be healthy in my tank
has anyone every kept a pleco in a cold water tank?i dont keep water isnt very cold btw
I have a Pleco in my coldwater tank.Had her for a year now.Plecos can live in coldwater as long as you house is warm.If your house is freezing , your pleco will freeze. But you should be fine!
